Rock In Roma 2019 Festival In Rome

The line-up for Rock In Roma 2019 is now almost complete! The event has become one of Italy's largest music festivals and attracts around 300,000 music fans from all over Italy and the world. And this 2019 version looks likely to be the best yet. Almost 10 concerts have already been organised over the Summer months at some of Rome's most impressive venues, such as the Auditorium Parco della Musica, the Teatro Romano di Ostia Antica and the Ippodromo delle Capannelle in the south-east of Rome on the Via Appia Nuova. The concert season opens with a performance the 27th June by Kraftwerk, who were major players in the late 1960s and early 1970s Krautrock scene and who also were the innovators of early Dance music. This is a show not to be missed; a '3-D' concert which combines music with the performing arts. In fact, Kraftwerk are also performing at the Teatro Romano the following day, on the 28th June! Again on the 27th June, but this time at the Ippodromo delle Capannelle, spectators can watch Italian Indie Rock artist Calcutta perform songs from his successful 'Evergreen' studio album. British rockers Skunk Anansie return to the festival again this year on the 8th July, performing at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, as does three-time Grammy Award winner Ben Harper with his band Innocent Criminals (13th July, Auditorium Parco della Musica).
