After the worldwide success of the last 3-D concert tours in 2018, German super group Kraftwerk have announced new dates for 2019: the pioneers of electronic music will be taking part in the Rock In Roma festival in the beautiful setting of the Teatro Romano di Ostia Antica, for two unmissable live shows on 27th and 28th June. Combining music and performing arts, Kraftwerk's 3-D concerts can be considered a real 'Gesamtkunstwerk', a total work of art. The multimedia project Kraftwerk was founded in 1970 by Ralf Hutter and Florian Schneider. The two gave life to the Kling Klang Studio in Düsseldorf, where they then recorded and produced all the group's albums. Kraftwerk have been recognised as pioneers of most types of electronic music; their influences have been cited by numerous musical artists. including Gary Numan, Human League, Depeche Mode, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson & Derrick May (the founders of Techno music), David Bowie, Blondie, Daft Punk and Rammstein, to name but a few. Several of their songs have also been sampled or covered by the likes of LCD Soundsytem, New Order and Siouxsie and the Banshees.
