Christmas is nearly upon us and Rome is home to many festive events, before, during and after the season of goodwill. Once such joyful event is Natale All'Auditorium (Christmas At The Auditorium) which organises cultural and religious events over the period. Christmas At The Auditorium 2018 is being held at one of the city's most impressive venues, the Auditorium Parco della Musica, situated at the Villaggio Olimpico in the Flaminio district of the Italian capital. The event is inaugurated on the 8th December from 5:00pm, when there will be an array of performances, concerts and exhibitions, both inside and outdoors. Some of the surprises scheduled include the return of Australian singer and lead vocalist of Dead Can Dance, Lisa Gerrard, as guest vocalist with the renowned a cappella choir Mystere des Voix Bulgares. The traditional Roma Gospel Festival is also unmissable, with the best contemporary Gospel lineups to be performed from the 21st December until the grand finale on New Year's Eve, as well as an array of other Christmas activities – a circus, Santa's Grotto, Christmas markets and ice-skating – bringing a complete magical Christmas world that appeals to both children and adults.
