Rome Exhibition Pixar 30 Years Of Animation

Dates: 09.10.18 - 20.01.19. Address: Palazzo delle Esposizioni, 194 Via Nazionale, 00184 Rome, Italy.

The Pixar Animation Studios need no introduction to movie lovers. The studios created the highly successful Toy Story series; the first film ever to be totally 'animated' on a computer. The reputation of Pixar, founded in California in 1986, is based on its skill in combining art and technology and on its innovative use of digital media to create original stories and timeless characters. In October (2018), the Pixar 30 Years Of Animation exhibition comes to the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome for a few months. The layout for the Rome exhibition, designed by Fabio Fornasari, offers an interpretation based on the concepts of Character, History and Setting, three crucial elements required to produce a great movie. The exhibition will also be supplemented with two spectacular installations, Artscape and the Zoetrope, which use digital technology to bring to life the works on display and to recreate the emotion and the magic of animation.

Opening times: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 10:00am to 8:00pm / Friday and Saturday: 10:00am to 10:30pm (closed Mondays) / Last entrance is one hour before closing time / Tickets: 6 - 12.50 Euros
