Simple Minds Live 2018 In Rome

Date: 03.07.18. Venue: Parco Della Musica - Auditorium Cavea, Via Pietro de Coubertin 30, 00196 Rome, Italy.

Simple Minds take to the road in 2018 to premiere and promote their new studio album, Walk Between Worlds, while performing many iconic classics. The album will be their 17th studio album of their career and it heralds a major lineup change, their first album since 2002 without drummer Mel Gaynor or keyboardist Andy Gillespie. This iconic Scottish rock band originally formed in Glasgow way back in 1977. Since then, they have become one of most commercially successful Scottish bands ever, having achieved five UK number one albums during their career and sold over 70 million records worldwide. The core of the band is the two remaining founding members, Jim Kerr (vocals, songwriting) and Charlie Burchill (guitars, keyboards, other instruments, songwriting). At the height of their career during the 1980s, radio and TV stations continually played some of their biggest hits, including 'Don't You (Forget About Me)', 'Alive and Kicking’, 'Sanctify Yourself' and 'Belfast Child'.
