Alt-J, usually written as alt-j, are playing at Rome’s Palalottomatica venue on Thursday 1st February 2018 to promote their recently released album ‘Relaxer’. The English indie rock band formed in 2007 (Leeds, UK) and their first album came out in 2012 in both Europe and the USA. Entitled ‘An Awesome Wave’, their debut album won the 2012 British Mercury Prize. The follow-up album ‘This Is All Yours’ was released in 2014 and went straight to the top of the UK charts. Now with their third album, alt-j have become a threesome and have, to date, sold over 4 million records worldwide, including 2 million records in the United States. This tour started in September 2017 in the UK and brings the band to the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe, with this being the only date (so far) in Italy.
