Tattoo Forever Exhibition In Rome

Tattoo Forever is the largest international exhibition dedicated to tattoos as being portrayed as an original artistic expression in modern times. The exhibition can be found at the MACRO until the 24th July 2016 and has been created under the artistic direction of Marco Manzo, one of Italy's best known international tattoo artists, and in collaboration with Roma Capitale, Department of Cultural Activities and Tourism. Visitors can expect an all-embracing and educational journey through the history and culture of tattoos; one of the sections at Tattoo Forever shows the history of the tattoo and features museum artefacts and relics. Other section of the exhibition include paintings, photography and graphic arts displays by some of the world's greatest tattoo artists.
