Night Of Museums In Rome May 2016

Saturday 21st May sees this year's Night Of Museums In Rome taking place; this European-wide event has been happening annually since 2005 and now involves more than 3,000 museums in approximately 30 countries in Europe. Many of Rome's main civic and state museums will be open on this evening until 2:00am. There is a 'symbolic' 1 Euro entrance fee and there will also be special exhibitions, concerts, dancing shows, theatre and lectures available. Last admission into the museums is at 1:00am and the museums involved include the Capitoline Museums, Centrale Montemartini, Macro, Macro Testaccio, Ara Pacis Museum, Museum Of Rome - Palace Braschi, Museum Of Rome In Trastevere, Trajan (Traiano) Markets - Imperial Forum Museum, Museums Of Villa Torlonia, Palazzo Delle Esposizioni and the Scuderie Del Quirinale. Even the Sapienza Università Di Roma participates in the Night Of Museums 2016 with a special opening of its museum complex.


Opening hours: 8:00pm to 2:00am. Tickets: 1 Euro. Last admission is 1 hour before closing.
