The Galleria d'Arte Moderna is exhibiting 40 masterpieces from the Fondazione Magnani Rocca in Parma, Italy, alongside the works of art from the Capitoline collection. Entitled 'Affinità Elettive. Da de Chirico A Burri' (Elective Affinities. From De Chirico To Burri), the exhibition concentrates on Italian modern art from the 20th century, focussing on the productive period from the 1920s to the 1960s. Luigi Magnani's collection, the founder of the museum in Parma, includes some masterpieces of Italy's most famous artists during that period, which includes 'L'enigma della partenza' (The Enigma of Departure) by Giorgio de Chirico, who inspired Italy's 'scuola metafisica' art movement and works by Italian painter and sculptor, Alberto Burri.


Opening hours: Tuesdays to Sundays from 10:00am to 6:30pm (closed on Mondays). Tickets: 5.50-7.50 Euros. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing.
