The festive season is about to commence with some unforgettable entertainment happening in Rome right though to 2019. Like anywhere, one of the most important festive days is New Year's Eve and there is a full agenda of things to do in Rome between then and New Year's Day. The 'New Year's Eve: The Festival Of Rome 2019' (Capodanno: La Festa Di Roma 2019) is an all-day extravaganza that lasts 24 hours from the 31st of December at 9:00pm until 9:00pm on the 1st of January 2019. The event promises to showcase more than 100 performances involving 1000 artists coming from 46 different countries and 5 continents taking place all around the Eternal City. The event kicks off at the iconic Circo Massimo at 9:00pm, where spectators will be immersed in a exhilarating light and sound show accompanied by acrobatic performances and fireworks. The Festa Di Roma swaps traditional venues and stages for the Rome's bridges, theaters and piazzas, unfolding in an area of 70,000 square metres, in between Circo Massimo, Giardino degli Aranci, Piazza Dell'Emporio, Via Petroselli, Lungotevere Aventino, Lungotevere Dei Pierleoni and Isola Tiberina.
