Gay Village 2017 In Rome

The Gay Village in Rome is a summertime festival which is now into its 16th year. The 2017 Village is held at the 'Parco del Ninfeo' in the EUR district in the south of the city. The Gay Village is open to all, homosexual, heterosexual, metrosexual, asexual, etc and aims to promote the concept of having fun and enjoyment, while also raising public awareness on the issue of homophobic discrimination. The event's logo this year is 'Love Has No Frontiers' and has incorporated the #loveyournature hashtag. There is live music, DJs, educational documentaries, cinema and several different shows. The Gay Village is open from Thursdays to Saturdays and entrance is usually free between 7:00pm and 9:00pm.
